Last week, Myddelton College Jinhua (MCJ) hosted the MCJ English Carnivale, showcasing the students' English language skills and dramatic talents. The event featured spirited competitions among the four houses of MCJ: Darwin House, Dahl House, Pankhurst House, and Potter House. The competitions included the highly anticipated Spelling Bee final, Dubbing, and Drama segments.

In the Spelling Bee final, contestants from the four houses engaged in fierce competition. Each participant diligently spelled challenging words, creating a tense atmosphere that tested everyone's linguistic agility. Ultimately, the Gold award winners were Pre-IG's Muhammed Shahid, Y12's Joseph Lee, Y10's Eric Liu, and Y11's Soniya Ma. The Spelling Bee competition concluded with Darwin House emerging victorious, with team members including Pre: Muhammad, Y10: Jessica, Y11: Terrence, and Y12: Scott.
