这周日是米德尔顿荣光校区在疫情封控下度过的第10天,MCJ的老师和同学们在下午就出现在了餐厅,大家一起自己动手,调制馅料、包形态各异的饺子,然后共同烹饪品尝。
Last Sunday was the 10th day that MCJ where under the epidemic control. The boarding staff at MCJ usually try to organize an outing at the weekend. However, dure to restrictions teachers and students cannot leave the campus. Therefore, we decided to make dumplings together; from cooking fillings and wrapping various shapes of dumplings, to the final tasting.
对于很多同学以及外教来说也是人生中第一次学包饺子,老师和同学们共同制作了芹菜肉馅、猪肉大葱馅料、白菜肉馅以及满足素食需求的黄瓜鸡蛋馅四种馅料。而来自天南地北的老师们也献上了自己各自的手艺,同学们共同参与大胆尝试,饺子、馄饨还有其他不规则的形状......热情满满,有趣非常。此外,学校还为大家准备了炸鸡薯条、冰淇淋和饮料。好奇味道如何?看看所有的饺子被席卷而空,就知道大家的手艺居然还挺好!
For many students and foreign teachers, it was the first time in their lives to learn how to make dumplings. The teacher and the students jointly made four kinds of fillings: celery and pork, green onion, cabbage, and cucumber and eggs to meet the needs of meat eaters and vegetarians. The teachers from different places also presented their own craftsmanship, and the students participated in bold attempts, dumplings, wontons and other irregular shapes.They were all full of enthusiasm as they couldn’t wait to taste their creations that were eaten with chicken and chips, ice cream and fizzy drinks.
疫情封闭下的MCJ依然保持着紧凑的教学节奏与校园日常。MCJ的老师们坚守在学校,在课堂之外带着同学们一起度过有意义的闲暇时光。在这个特殊时期,每一堂课、每一顿饭,老师都和同学们在一起,继续保持积极乐观的态度与身心的健康活力,共同期待解封的到来。
Under the special control of epidemic, MCJ still maintains their teaching schedule and campus routine. During this special period, every class, every homework tutorial, every meal time, the school's teachers and students are together, and continue to maintain a positive and optimistic attitude. This is helped with participation in physical activities and all members of the school checking that everyone is feeling mentally and physically well during these unusual circumstances.
